Fortnite is on the brink of launching its most recent significant update, v25.30, which promises to introduce fresh challenges, skins, and more, following a planned downtime. As the current season draws to a close, fans eagerly anticipate the commencement of a new chapter in the Fortnite saga.
The Fortnite update v25.30 maintenance is scheduled to start on July 26, 2023, at 4 am Eastern Standard Time. The hour prior to the maintenance, players are recommended to log off in order to avoid losing any potential progress owing to momentary server difficulties. This update was originally slated for July 25, 2023, but it was pushed back because to the Cash Cup’s new date.
Servers will be taken offline approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled maintenance to facilitate the global rollout of changes. Typically, a major update like this results in a server downtime of about two hours. However, to ensure a smooth update, it’s safe to anticipate a total downtime of three hours.
Future Fortnite updates will include a partnership with the well-liked TV program Futurama, bringing new character skins and Back Blings. According to leaks, the partnership would feature three brand-new clothes modeled after Fry, Bender, and Leela, the three main Futurama characters. Two new Back Blings will also be added to the game, taking inspiration from Mind-Control Parasite and Nibbler.
The update is likely to introduce a new weapon called the Lever Pistol and unvault the Kinetic Boomerang. These additions are expected to bring about a significant shift in the battle royale mode. Furthermore, four new Reality Augments – Pistol Recycle, Scoped, Fire Armory, and Balloon Fall – are set to enhance the gaming experience.
